Big science

Big science

The strangely illuminated structure in the foreground is the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center. On the horizon in the distance is the Stanford Dish, another recurring subject of mine. The view is from Sand Hill Road looking approximately east.

Taken in April, 1990 with a Minolta XG-M and 200mm tele lens on Ektachrome 400, scanned on a Polaroid SprintScan 35+, then cleaned up and cropped in Photoshop 7.
