The road to the future


The street meandering up the hill is Coyote Hill Drive. Just over the rise is PARC (formerly Xerox Palo Alto Research Center), where they used to invent the future. Taken in August, 1998, during the height of the Internet boom. Boom.

Shot with a Minolta XG-M and the 50mm f1.7 lens on Ektachrome 400, scanned on a Polaroid SprintScan 35+, then cleaned up, white balance corrected, and cropped in Photoshop 7.
