Closeup of the ground at Glass Beach, Fort Bragg, California. Once upon a time this was the city dump, but years of wave action have turned it into a wonderland of drift glass and weirdly mutated artifacts.
Taken in August, 2003 with a Pentax ZX-5N (with the kit 28-80mm f3.5 zoom lens) on Fuji Provia 100, scanned on a Polaroid SprintScan 35+, then cleaned up and cropped in Photoshop CS4, with exposure, contrast, saturation, levels, and highlights adjustments in Aperture.
