Badwater, in Death Valley, is mainly noteworthy for being the lowest point in North America, but I almost titled this one ”Big Grain”. Not only is the picture extremely grainy, but so were the ground and the air and the water here.
Taken in April, 1998 with a Minolta XG-M and the 50mm f1.7 lens on Ektachrome 100, scanned on a Polaroid SprintScan 35+, massively pushed with the SprintScan scanning software, then cleaned up and cropped in Photoshop 7.
