The platform at Atherton station. This is one of the old stations where you have to cross the southbound track to board a northbound train, which means Caltrain only uses this station on weekends when the trains only run once per hour. Apparently they have some kind of thing about people being hit by trains. Atherton doesn’t generate enough traffic to modernize the station.
