Froggy patina

Froggy patina

Frog in a switch in the Granite Rock yard, San Bruno, California. Something about the nature of the gravel business, I think, causes the steel and iron in this yard to have an light coating of rust in ever changing colors. Perhaps a chemist could explain it.

Shot with the Nikon D70s and the 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5 zoom at 70mm, ISO 400, f/10, shutter 1/160 sec. Exposure, saturation, highlights, and levels adjustments in Aperture.
