View west across Death Valley from, I think, the Golden Canyon parking area. It had been the wettest spring in many decades, so there was a nearly unprecedented wildflower bloom going on.
Taken in April, 1998 with a Minolta XG-M and the 50mm f1.7 lens on Ektachrome 100, scanned on a Polaroid SprintScan 35+, then cleaned up and cropped in Photoshop CS4.
