Obsidian cracks

Obsidian cracks

Cracks in the rock face alongside the Obsidian Flow Trail, Newberry National Volcanic Monument, south of Bend, Oregon. A surreal landscape not be missed if you are ever in the area.

Shot with a Minolta XG-M and the 50mm f1.7 lens on Ektachrome 400, scanned on a Polaroid SprintScan 35+, then cleaned up, color corrected, and cropped in Photoshop 7.
