Tail fins (well, parachute, technically) on Fat Man. Fat Man was the bomb dropped on Nagasaki in 1945. This is the unused (!) casing for an identical model, on display in the rocket garden at the White Sands Missile Range museum, New Mexico. Coming upon it just sitting there was quite unsettling, even though this one is just a hunk of steel.
