Window on Pigeon Point lighthouse, Pescadero, California. It was only years later, going through my archives, that I noticed that this shot is nearly the same as this earlier one, an unconscious duplication that probably says something deep about how the human brain is wired. The two photographs were taken eight months and some 650 miles apart, under completely different circumstances.
Shot with the Nikon D70s and the 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5 zoom at 70mm, ISO 400, f/18, shutter 1/250 sec. White balance, exposure, contrast, saturation, levels, highlights, and color adjustments in Aperture.
